An old family favorite. Any packaged smoked fish, bluefish, salmon, or trout, can be used for this. Load up the horseradish if you like it spicy.
Smoked Bluefish Pate
Equipment
- 1 food processor
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb skinless, boneless smoked fish
- 4 oz mascarpone , or soft cream cheese
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp horseradish bottled
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp chopped red onion
- 1 pinch cayenne
- to taste salt
Instructions
- Mix everything but the red onion with food processor. Sprinkle onion on top or stir them into the dip.
Notes
You can use any type of smoked fish, especially Duck Trap or other packaged smoked fish in supermarket.
