Glazed Steak
Simple way to guarantee steak cooks right and add flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 NY Strip or similar cut
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Salt both sides about 15 minutes before cooking.
- Heat pan to medium high, maybe a bit of oil.
- Cut steak into "steak tip" chunks.
- Add steak and stir when side is browned, cook for 8 – 10 minutes, depending on size of cut.
- Pour vinegar and honey over steak and stir, let brown and glaze to dark color.
- Salt, pepper to taste.
- Rest, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
