Glazed Steak

Simple way to guarantee steak cooks right and add flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 NY Strip or similar cut
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions
 

  • Salt both sides about 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Heat pan to medium high, maybe a bit of oil.
  • Cut steak into "steak tip" chunks.
  • Add steak and stir when side is browned, cook for 8 - 10 minutes, depending on size of cut.
  • Pour vinegar and honey over steak and stir, let brown and glaze to dark color.
  • Salt, pepper to taste.
  • Rest, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
