Easy and on hand to build a meal around when no other ideas. Add rice, noodles, greens, flatbread and instant meal. Not as beany as beans but I think these are beans:)
Roasted Spicy Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 15.5 oz chickpeas one can, about 2.5 cups
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven 400
- Drain chickpeas, rinse, pat dry. Place in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with olive oil
- Roast until brown and crispy, keep an eye out for burning.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle as much spice misture as you desire. Add salt and pepper.
