Stir Fry Sauce

96

This recipe features a straightforward sauce that thickens effortlessly with the help of arrowroot. It offers a balanced combination of spiciness and bold flavors, reminiscent of the taste found in traditional Asian chili sauces. This sauce has its own distinct character, separate from the sweetness of duck sauce and the tangy notes of hot and sour sauce. This recipe has a fiery kick and umami richness.

Notes

This is a great sauce to replicate chinese takeout flavor. The arrowroot thickens beautifully. Spicy so reduce chili sauce if needed and read ingredients if vegan important as the one I bought has shrimp in it.
Can add to hot pan after sauting garlic or onions and then add veggies and continue cooking. Serve over rice.
